Construction

 

Due to the vision and hard work of many people in the community of Faulkton, South Dakota, Faulk County Memorial Hospital/Clinic (FAMC) is building a new facility to replace the current, aging structure.  FAMC has been selected as one of only 32 critical access building sites in the nation.

 


April 26,2006
Construction starts!  Here the ground is being cleared of black dirt where the tree strip was as of  fall 2005.

Cement pumper trucks place cement where needed.

The metal rafter crossbeams are integrated with the red steel to completely support the roof structure.

The outside sheeting on the exterior walls closes in the east end.
