Computer Tomography (CT)
CT scans will provide rapid, high resolution scanning of the body from head to toe by applying computer technology to medical x-rays, which means that instead of the flat surface x-ray, CT has the ability to take cross-sectional images of your body.  These images will aid in detecting tumors, infections, blood clots, vascular disease and many other ailments.  CT scans are presently performed by a mobile outreach unit once per week, but we will be installing a permanent scanner in the new hospital.
